Our beach (Bondi) and the coastal walk

08:16:00

Hi all!

how is everything going? This sounds like a TV show but today we are going to talk about our lovely beach!

As you know after so long in London one of our main conditions (or well, let's say aims) of living here was to try and be the closest to the beach as possible. And we actually have managed to do so! As you saw in the last post, it was quite hard to look for a flat, but now it's paid off!

We live in Bondi Beach, which is the most famous beach in Sydney, not only for surfing but also because it is full of nice trendy shops and cafes (everything organic, gluten free, etc etc - Joe's paradise), and cool nightlife. I am actually sounding like a TV show yeah... sorry lol.

It is only like 25 minutes away from the CBD (Financial city centre), but I have to say it is a bit annoying as there are no traings that get here. So the only way to go to the centre is to get a bus to Bondi Junction (which is like half way through in the map) and then a train that takes only 10 minutes to the centre. So yeah the problem really is the buses, that come every 15 minutes, most of the times super packed, specially on peak hours. The trains are great, 2 levels and very quick, but also run every 10-15 minutes, so for us coming from London where you have a train every 2 minutes, it's' hardddddd haha specially for me, who as you know, I'm always late, specially in the morning. But oh well, good old Uber is here as well, so you can always take plan B.

And after this boring intro, we just wanted to show you a few pictures of the walk we did the other day, which we highly recommend as it was totally amazing! So between our beach and Coggee, there is a coastal walk that you can do heading south in the map and passing by 3 otehr different beaches - Tamarama, Bronte and Clovelly (check map above to see what we mean). The views are spectacular, as it is mainly cliffs, sea and vegetation altogether! It takes like 1 hour and a half to do it (maybe less, but we took so many pictures we were stopping every 10 minutes).

Even on the way there is Waverley cementery, which is massive and definitely makes sure the people buried here have the best views forerever!!

Isn't it amazingggggg? we love it, the walk is so relaxing and nice it's the perfect plan for a sunny day!

Anyway, time to go now, but more news to come soon!
mwahhh x
